1. We affirm the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. 1. The Authority of Scripture "We hold firm to the belief that the Bible is not merely a collection of human writings but is divinely inspired by God Himself. It is without error in its original manuscripts and serves as the ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice." Scriptural Support: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV): "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Peter 1:20-21 (NKJV): "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." Psalm 119:105 (NKJV): "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV): "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
2. We acknowledge the existence of one God, eternally manifest in three ways: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We affirm the foundational truth of one God. We also acknowledging the existence of one God who eternally reveals Himself in three distinct ways as the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Each manifestation possesses divine attributes, and together exist in perfect unity and harmony." Scriptural Support: Matthew 28:19 (NKJV): "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." 2 Corinthians 13:14 (NKJV): "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen." John 10:30 (NKJV): "I and My Father are one." 1 Corinthians 8:6 (NKJV): "Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live."
3. We profess the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous deeds, vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and anticipation of His personal return in power and glory.
4. We emphasize that belief in Jesus as Savior and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are indispensable for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity.
5. We recognize the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling empowers Christians to lead godly lives.
6. We affirm the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved to everlasting life with the Lord, and the lost to everlasting separation from Him.
7. We declare our belief in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
