Dr. Jay Caprietta is the Senior Pastor and founder of Essential Church, a Spirit-filled ministry passionate about helping people encounter God, experience healing, grow in faith, and discover purpose through Jesus Christ.

Alongside his wife Rachel and their five children, Dr. Caprietta has dedicated his life to ministry, leadership, and serving people both locally and internationally. His heart for people, passion for revival, and commitment to seeing lives transformed have impacted countless individuals through preaching, healing ministry, discipleship, media outreach, and global missions.

In 2009, Dr. Caprietta experienced a life-changing supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ that deeply shaped his calling into pastoral ministry and the healing movement. Since that time, he has devoted himself to preaching the Gospel with a strong emphasis on grace, healing, deliverance, the Holy Spirit, and the transforming power of God.

Dr. Caprietta earned a PhD in Strategic Leadership from Destiny College, equipping him with both spiritual and practical leadership insight for ministry, leadership development, and organizational growth.

Today, he leads Essential Church and The Healing Experience ministry, where people from all walks of life have testified of healing, restoration, encouragement, and spiritual breakthrough. His ministry has reached audiences through conferences, healing services, television, radio, online broadcasts, and social media platforms around the world.

Known for his practical teaching style, compassion for people, and passion for the supernatural work of God, Dr. Caprietta continues to encourage individuals, families, leaders, entrepreneurs, and ministries around the world.

Together with Pastor Rachel Caprietta, he continues building Essential Church as a place where people can encounter God, find healing, experience authentic community, and grow spiritually.

Dr. Caprietta currently resides in the Fort Worth, Texas area with his family.
